This Independent very popular and well-known Restaurant has been established for over four years.  The business trades five days a week with the exception of the summer when they open seven days to capitalise on the tourist trade. Casual seating for 90+ with a mix of undercover outdoor, cosy booth and high tables and stools. The restaurant is 100sqm inside (including open kitchen) and 40sqm on the covered deck, all situated underneath an 82-room hotel in the heart of town.

A loyal clientele of approximately half local and half tourist trade provides an excellent consistent flow with peck periods through the holidays. The menu consists of a large range of gourmet burgers, salads, sides, shakes, spiders and is fully licensed with local craft beer on tap and over 40 varieties of beer, wine and cider. All products and menu items are locally grown and sourced where possible, which solidifies only high quality and fresh products.

All equipment is serviced regularly and keep to a high standard, with a large walk in cool room and large dry store facilities.

With a massive and consistent social media marketing approach, ever changing menu specials and online competitions / promotions. There is little to do but put your own unique flare on a well-established and respected brand.

Due to excessive work commitments elsewhere, the owners are reluctantly moving on. This has resulted in reduced opening hours and full management to take place in the new year.

18 staff at present including two full time chefs, two casual chefs four kitchen hands and 10 casual front of house waitstaff.

The Lease 3x3x3 commenced in September 2015. – CPI increases and a 3-month bond is required.

Trading hours at present, lunch and dinner Tues – Sat.

With 7day trade through the busy holiday period.

 

Opportunities

Food cost and wage percentages are currently higher than they should be due to lack of management presents, an experienced operator will have no issue reducing both, to greatly impact the bottom line.

Extending opening hours and catering for group bookings would also vastly improve on current turnover.

Extending the menu offerings to include a wider range of bite size options, share plates i.e. ribs and wings etc.

Expanding on the alcohol offering adding a full cocktail menu has endless possibilities

And lastly, delivery options would give an untold advantage.
